Several Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, such as ChatGPT, are steadily becoming popular in the country, and with these tools taking center stage, it is critical to keep your skill set up to date.

Keeping this in mind, former IIT Delhi director V Ramgopal Rao shared some advice for students on Twitter.

Rao advises students and IT professionals to first ensure that they not only understand how to use software like ChatGPT but also learn how to utilize it effectively.

“Learn to use new tools like ChatGPT effectively to boost your personal and group productivity. Just as you don’t hire a driver who can’t use Google Maps, no company will hire you in the future if you can’t use these tools effectively. Always remember, technology can be a useful servant but a dangerous master,” he said.

The next three tips from Rao largely discuss how vital it is to follow your heart while choosing a career, but it is also important to allow your brain to take over and perform all of the subsequent preparation. “If you take all your decisions by your mind, you may never find your passion and may never do anything great. If you always let your heart decide, you may not be able to deal with the repercussions,” he said.

ITC exceeds Q3 profit expectations by 21%:

• ITC’s share price reached a 52-week high of Rs 388.20, up 2% in early trade on February 6 after December earnings exceeded expectations.

• The standalone net profit increased by 21% to Rs 5,031 crore from Rs 4,156 crore the previous year.

• The earnings exceeded expectations by a wide margin. The company’s bottom line was predicted to be Rs 4,614 crore, according to an average of brokerage forecasts polled by Moneycontrol.

Motilal Oswal → Brokerage keeps a ‘buy’ rating with a target of Rs 450 for ITC, raising FY24 EPS by 3.5% due to a better outlook. Positive outlook based on strong demand recovery and margins in cigarettes, strong sales in FMCG, recovery in hotels, and improved capital allocation. A stable tax environment is expected to improve cigarette volumes and earnings visibility in the medium term.
